7pm reservations with wife on a Saturday night mid-March. Overall we had an exceptional experience with excellent service and great food. First and foremost our server Janice was absolutely fantastic - so friendly and very attentive! We started with the shishito pepper appetizer and the wedge salad. The peppers were perfectly blistered and well seasoned. Janice asked us if we wanted for her to split the salad onto two plates (much appreciated!) and when they brought them out each plate could've been it's own full order. The homemade buttermilk dressing was fresh and tasty with a lovely dill accent. For entrees we ordered the Triple Platter (pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs) and added an order of the tri-tip. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had - super tender and falling off the bone with a sweet and savory shellac. I'm not a BBQ expert or anything but this is exactly how I want my ribs. The brisket was well seasoned with a distinct smoke ring visible. Again very tender and tasty. The pulled pork was good but could've used a little more seasoning for my taste. Minor issue though since they bring two different sauces out to accompany the meal and both are great (one mustard based and one ketchup based). The tri-tip had a nice chimichurry topping and like the rest of the meat was super fresh and tender. For sides we had mac and cheese and cole slaw; both complimented the BBQ very well. They had a chocolate pie as the daily dessert which had good flavor but it was way too cold (they needed to let it sit for a few minutes before serving it) which was a little bummer but no big deal (I don't go to a BBQ joint for dessert but wife always insists LOL). Dinner was $156 before tip which was a great deal as we definitely had enough leftovers for an entire additional meal. That included a glass of pinot noir and a soft drink. There are TVs everywhere so this is a great spot to catch a game. Based on our experience I would absolutely recommend Mabel's!

This was the first time my husband & I dined here & we're so glad we did!! We had a 4:30p rsvp & were greeted & seated immediately. Our only complaint was how cold the restaurant was. Otherwise it was nice & clean. Our server, Alex was amazing; very attentive! We had ribs, burnt ends, mac n cheese, pork n beans, pickled onions, sweet pickles, rolls & everything was delicious! Definitely recommended!!

Mabel's is a Must Try when you're in Vegas! I'm not one to usually eat bbq but this establishment truly know how to master their craft. I got the opportunity to take my brothers to Mabel's during Christmas break. One of them works at a barbecue restaurant so he was blown away at the food quality. Service was also great. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can't wait to come back sometime soon!

That's probably only place where we received a great service and food was bomb! They also have a pool table on the second floor. Server was an amazing lady, unfortunately don't remember her name, but this was on 12/31. Food was so delicious, I ordered brisket with Mac and cheese, bomb bomb bomb! They pickles are also super tasty!

Happened to be staying across the street from the Palms while recently in Las Vegas and tried Mabel's for dinner. I was not expecting much (just hoping it was better than the flavor less chain Famous Dave's) -- and Mabel's really caught me off guard by offering kinsmen excellent cue! Went with the brisket, sliced tri tip and sides of beans, Mac and cheese and slaw...the meats come with two Hawaiian rolls as well. Brisket was decent but the tri tip was excellent! Tender and full of flavor...well done! The Mac was good but the sale and beans were A+. It is very difficult to find good bbq outside of Texas, Missouri or N Carolina and Tennessee...but Mabel's really does provide a quality effort worth stopping in to try!

Based on the hype, I was expecting much better. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the service or food, it just didn't live up to the "Celebrity Chef" hype. The Barbecue was delicious, but didn't stand out from any other good BBQ joints anywhere else. The atmosphere was pretty cool, but nothing really noteworthy - especially here in Vegas.

I am a huge Michael Symon fan and while it took us a while to get here, we made it. My husband and son brought me here for Mother's Day and early birthday celebration. We came on Friday afternoon around 4:30 PM and were seated at one of the tall tables. The vibe is very bar and southern vibes with a lot of red lighting, which definitely impacted the photos, but didn't detract from the flavor. We decided to start off with chips and salsa, and then get the half chicken, and the Triple Play (1/2 rack of ribs, pulled pork, and sliced brisket). The chips and salsa came out and boy, did that salsa have a little more heat than expected. My son was the one who originally wanted it but didn't eat that much because of the heat. It was good, but it definitely made your nose drip a smidge. The half chicken and Triple Play were hearty platters. My husband really had to cut into that half chicken to break it down into pieces but it was tender and full of flavor. The fries had a nice crisp and weren't overly done. The sauce on the ribs was again, a little much for my son, but it was good for me. I don't eat brisket very often, but this honestly was the best I have ever tasted. It was mouth watering! There was so much food we had to pack some of it up to go home. (I ended up eating the pulled pork on a hot dog bun the next day and it was still very delicious). In terms of the service, well it could have been better. We sat there for a while just waiting to get someone's attention for refills and then again waiting to get our bill. But when they were there, they were friendly, but it could have been better. Overall we were happy with our choice to come here and definitely still a fan of all things Chef Symon.

I really enjoyed my experience at Mabels. We were just looking for something casual, and we're already at the Palms. We were greeted nicely at the door, and sat quickly. Ryan the waiter was to our table promptly and answered some questions on the menu for us. We weren't looking for much so I went with the double Big Mike burger and the wife had a Big Chop salad with pork on top. Everything came out pretty quick and tasted like it was fresh to order. We also had visited Mabels about a month prior and ordered the Triple Play BBQ sampler for 2. I highly recommend this if it's your first time and have 2 people. You get to try a little bit of almost everything, and it is plenty. I loved everything that was on the tray. I put Mabels in my top 3 favorite bbq restraunts to eat at in Vegas.
